Basic Detox Salad

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups greens (spinach, kale, arugula, watercress, etc)

  • 1/4 cup raw nuts - handful of sprouts (approx. 1/2 cup)

  • 1/2 cup chopped tomatoes

  • 1/2 avocado, diced

  • 1/4 cup chopped cucumber

  • 1/4 cup chopped jicama

  • 1/4 cup fresh chopped herbs (mixed variety recommended!)

  • Add other approved veggies for variety, as desired

Dressing:

  • 1/2 cup EVOO

  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar

  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice

  • 2 tsp dried oregano

  • 1/2 tsp each - rosemary, basil, sage (Trader Joe’s Herb de Provence is a perfect blend for this dressing)

  • 1 tsp chopped chives

  • 1 tsp mustard

  • 1/2 tsp sea salt

  • 2 tbs chopped parsley

Combine all ingredients in a blender and process until smooth
